I drew the letters for DÓCHAS (hope) with a gradiant that I’m hoping will remind you of a sunrise. My design was inspired by Emily Dickinson’s poem that begins, “Hope is the thing with feathers / that perches in the soul.” I drew a brown bird carrying the fada mark above a nest of eggs. And there are pretty blue feathers scattered in the sky. It’s a very difficult time for the world, but we can act in ways that build hope together.
