Description

“Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine” is written in blue script text with the English translation (“In the shelter of each other, the people live. People live in each other’s shadows.”) in small letters below. I drew two trees growing together and offering shade to each other. I used my personal style of creating the picture by piecing together images of fabric: there are paisley branches and plaid leaves. Zoom in to see those details. This is a beautiful way to remind yourself of how interdependent we are whenever you take time to write. As you practice your Gaeilge, you can consider the ways that you make the world a better place – and also how others support you.

The company, Printful, prints my design on the journal. Here is that company’s description of the journal: Whether crafting a masterpiece or brainstorming the next big idea, this notebook will inspire your inner wordsmith. The product features 80 lined, cream-colored pages, a built-in elastic closure, and a matching ribbon page marker. Plus, the expandable inner pocket is perfect for storing loose notes and business cards, so you’ll never lose track of important information.
