Description
“Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine” is written in blue script text with the English translation (“In the shelter of each other, the people live. People live in each other’s shadows.”) in small letters below. I drew two trees growing together and offering shade to each other. I used my personal style of creating the picture by piecing together images of fabric: zoom in to see those details. Sending this postcard is a simple way of having more Gaeilge in your life, while reminding each other how interdependent we are. It’s a beautiful message of solidarity. Be sure to check out my other designs on postcards: buy a set of 10 for only 20 Euros!
